Learn Portuguese: Feira do Livro em Português!

FEIRA DO LIVRO! Brazilian/Portuguese/Luso-African Book Fair!

Please join me for the 1st ever Portuguese-language Bookfair at the UMass Dartmouth Summer Program in Portuguese, this July 27 or 28 on the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Campus! Here are the details:

1a Feira do Livro: Wednesday, July 27, 2011 – 4pm- 9pm
Woodland Commons at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Parking Lot 10, 285 Old Westport Road, North Dartmouth, MA 02747

Wednesday’s feira do livro will run alongside a showing of the movie “Two Drifters” (2005, from Portugal) which starts at 5pm. Directed by João Pedro Rodrigues. This film will be preceded by a brief introduction by the director, and followed by an open discussion.

Thursday’s feira do livro will run alongside a Concert by the award-winning Brazilian singer/songwriter Suely Mesquita.

The Portuguese and Lusophone Film Series is sponsored by: Instituto Camões and the Portuguese Consulate in New Bedford. The Feira do livro is organized by the Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture – UMass Dartmouth.
