Elena ComoOriginally from California’s San Francisco Bay Area, Elena became interested in Brazil and Portuguese after discovering capoeira, the Brazilian martial art/dance. Through Atlantico, Elena shares her passion for Portuguese with others who are outside of the Portuguese-speaking world. Elena’s mission through Atlantico is to help others to experience  cultural understanding and broadening of horizons through the study of Portuguese and through getting to know Brazil and Portugal.
