This beginning Brazilian Portuguese video & book course engages the student through use of situational dramatic scenarios, contemporary themes and adult vocabulary.  The Brazilian Portuguese course consists of 36 dialogs, each followed by instructional lessons, drill and vocabulary review. Reference materials are included on the DVD.

Written Portuguese is presented on-screen via subtitles. The early lessons are almost completely subtitled, later ones less so.  Narration tracks and subtitles are offered in English, Italian and French. 

For the traveler or person working in Brazil, this is a great way to get started. For the serious student of the Portuguese language it's the perfect practice tool.
